This page is a synopsis of our current project
inspired by The Holy Spirit. If God has you
working already, please don't ignore your work for ours.
We can use all the soldiers who want to help, but there
are many jobs God has commissioned. Remember, we
all work for the same Boss. I hope you are an
active Soldier of Our Lord Christ Jesus (Christian
Soldier). "The Church Of Christian Soldiers"
belongs to Our Lord. If you are in His War against
hate and the general work of the unclean, unholy and
other of Satan's minions, you are a Christian Soldiers.
Belonging to "The Church Of Christian Soldiers" has
nothing to do with money. We take no tithes,
donations or any moneys whatsoever. If you like
our
Mission Statement, take up The Cross and serve The
Lord in your area. If you would like help or
information on how to get started, E-Mail me and I will
assist you in anyway I can. God's money is for the
homeless, orphans, poor, children's homes and other like
facilities.
The
Lord furnishes a meal for my wife and I everyday and
keeps my roof up. I'm not rich and actually, I am
poor by most standards, but Our Lord's Grace is all the
bread I need and I am rich with His Love and His Living
Water fills me (My Cup Runneth Over). Living on
meager means helps to keep me humble and primes my
status as a servant of God.
I
can't impress on you enough to organize and help the
poor and homeless in your local area. If you give
me supplies, it will be used in Huntsville, AL and the
surrounding area. Serve God in your area. I
can help you get started and give you instructions on
how to work with the homeless. Remember, they are
people just as you and I and God does not love me more
than them. Put yourself as a servant to them and
take no praise. Thank them for allowing you to
serve God by serving them. Collect your reward in
heaven.
If
our local Church has a need for a building or other
facility, God will supply the means. There will be
no hidden agendas and our books will be open and
available to the public for your scrutiny. My wish
is that you will be active in your country, state,
county, city and/or community. If you want to
start a local branch of "The Church Of Christian
Soldiers", please contact me (Reverend
David Halford) and let's get you started. You
will have to have an ordained minister to head up the
Church. I will have to familiarize myself with
you, but as Soldiers of Christ this will be a joy to
accomplish.
CURRENT
ACTIVITIES
This is the work that is needed right now. It will
be so in your community as well as mine, so let's get
started.
Right now, we need to collect goods for the homeless.
Winter is coming on fast and they need lots of goods to
support them through these cold months. They need
socks, warm gloves, large shirts (for layers), jackets
and coats, blankets, sleeping bags, sheets, thermal
underwear and anything they can use to stay warm.
Remember, they live in boxes and at the very best,
tents. Staying warm keeps them alive in the winter
time.
Of
course, they always need food. In the winter, good
and plentiful food keeps them warm as good as anything.
Non-perishable foods are the mainstay.
Refrigerators aren't very practical under a bridge.
Ice chests, even Styrofoam helps to keep their food
longer and keeps thing from freezing on those coldest
days. I always like to take them some meat to cook
and milk for their cereal, but I have to do this several
times a week to assure freshness. Don't give what
you don't want. They are God's Children (The
Children Of Light) just as we are. They deserve as
good as I do and I want to make sure this is so.
Don't go to them if you are not prepared to treat them
as you would any Christian Brother. They like a
good hug and if you act like they have leprosy, they
will perceive this. They get lots of rejection, so
they don't need it from us too. If you will
contact me, I will make arrangements to collect what you
have and deliver the goods myself.
My
Promise To You: All contributed items made to The
Church Of Christian Soldiers will go to those who have
need. This Church will not take money to
compensate the pastor or any other staff member.
We work for a living and serve God for a calling.
Now is the time to buy food and supplies for the
homeless. If you live in the Huntsville, Alabama
area, all contributed supplies will go to those who have
a need. Any contributions not used will be given
to The Rescue Mission, Goodwill, First Stop and/or any
other organization who helps the homeless, poor, orphans
and other of God's needful.
If you live outside of Huntsville, Alabama, find an
organization in your local area that you can support.
Be active in this and volunteer where needed. We,
as Christians, are all soldiers in Christ. We are
the ambassadors from The Kingdom Of The Living God.
It is our duty to fight for the commandments given to us
by Our Lord Christ Jesus.
