The road ahead is
forked true
so entwined with all life’s trials.
As it winds and turns
and twists,
forever on for many miles.
I will follow Your
Path blindly,
for my faith it lies in You.
You have shown me new
beginnings,
to the end, please see me through.
Your Word is my true
salvation
the key to holy life assured.
It is the song poured
from my soul
for all life’s ills, it is the cure.
Your Hands I place my
fate, O Lord,
only in You that I rely.
Through temptation and
tribulation
faith in You is where I lie.
Though before me, yet, seen blind paths
I’ll not falter in belief.

Omnipresent is Your Love for everyone we are the child.
All the power of the universe, yet no breathe could be as mild.
You hold us in Your Cup Of Life and never spill a drop.
Your Force has no beginning, nor ever will it stop.
The caring
of The Holy Father’s Love eternity
is longer than the river and is deeper than the sea.
No beginning never ends this is the Spirit of The Lord.
He’ll wash away the sins of man He wields a mighty sword.
He gives us life; He gives us love and feeds our every need.
His Power splits the mountain and His Breathe It sprouts the seed.
We’re ever in Your Light, O Lord, and darkness never more.
Your Coruscations soothe us like the eagle we will soar.
We worship You with all our hearts and bathe You with our tears.
You shield us from all evil and You take away our fears.
You fill us with Your Love, our Lord, and cradle us with care.
You ask us just to take this love and with each other share.
No beginning never ends, this of You we know, O Lord.
Your Word is our existence eternal life is our reward.
That You
love us with Your Flesh and Blood to wash away our sins
is life forever lasting no beginning, never ends.

The Holy
Spirit, always present, ever in us all
is felt most strongly when the mighty name The Lord you call.
For if you ask Him, He will come and wash your sins away.
“Forgive me for my sins, O Lord,” is all you have to say.
Above
toward the heavens or below unto the ground
you may look to left or right, in front or back and all around.
The Holy Spirit, always present, ever in us all.
Your faith in Him is all you’ll need He’ll never let you fall.
The Holy Spirit in us, you can know He’s always there.
It matters little if you’re good or hateful as a bear.
He loves us all, both good and bad, there’s nowhere you can hide.
Just call on Him and safely in His Arms you’re tucked inside.
The Holy Spirit, flowing through all things forever more.
He brings you through your troubles and He makes your spirit soar.
Connecting everything and all, His Energy so pure.
A blanket for your every woe. A most delightful cure.
The Holy
Spirit, always present, ever in us all
is felt most strongly when the mighty name The Lord you call.
For if you ask Him, He will come and wash your sins away.
The Bible The Book The Scripture The Word
January 9, 2002
The Bible,
the book, the Scripture, the word
is to us all as the wind for a bird.
With It,
you’ve all, without It, you’re naught
It is the answer to all you have sought.
To bring
into focus for with It we’re one
It’s food for the spirit like plants need the sun.
Pray for
the answers, The Lord shows us all
He’ll not let you falter; He’ll not let you fall.
Sixty-six
books put together as whole
a reference for living, a charge for your soul.
A template for wholeness, design for all life.
Blueprint the soul, a cure for your strife.
The magic, it works only if It is read.
Without this is like spoken words that aren’t said.
Like a breeze that’s not blown or like uneaten food.
On a shelf It’s like dove songs that never are cooed.
The Bible, the Scripture, the people all one.
Without It we’re scattered lost sheep on the run.
The Bible, the Scripture immortal like time.

Life
always finds unknown times good and bad
it holds days of laughter, sometimes you are sad.
Like
water, so needed, for life we all know
can move mighty mountains and cast a rainbow.
Some harp
of their problems as if all alone
most woes are the product of seeds we have sown.
When
things seem so bad, you need only call
the promise of our Lord, with prayer you have all.
To ask for
grand riches, so selfish a plea
is wasting a favor from God, can’t you see.
Ask Him to
tell you what task you can do
to help your good brothers to find life that’s new.
The life
they can have is more grander than gold
it’s richer than riches and bolder than bold.
A mile of
fine pearls, a gift that keeps giving
a gift of the life, a life ever living.
You ask
our Lord Jesus, “Forgive us our sin,
and give us our bread, Holy Father amen.

Everyone has a most uncertain day
one that goes, somewhat, less a bit than your way.
They say that a friend who is in a small need
is a friend, yes, a friend; you’ve a friend, yes, indeed.
Those are the days you’re in need of The Lord.
No less than our Heavenly Father afford.
Lend a hand; share some time or a soul to refresh.
In us all is the task to be “Jesus In Flesh”.
Surely you’ve had of your days a bad time
when your waking was surly or less than sublime.
Have you never the need of kind voice or a hand
or the Love of a brother, like the beach has the sand.
“Jesus In Flesh”, we can all share its bliss,
sure the best gift of all it is never amiss.
Take a second of time in your day now and then
to share The Lord’s love with a stranger or friend.
If in your day you do follow this charge
tenfold your reward will be given by large.
January 23, 2002
Lord, protect us on this day.
Of this we ask You; this we pray.
Forgive our sins and keep us whole
we’ll reap our gifts one hundred fold.
Protect us from temptation, Lord
and shield us from the devil’s sword.
We worship You with every word
with praise and glory most assured.
Heal us Lord from all that ails
and soothe us when our venture fails.
We share our faith with all we know
in hope The Holy sheen will show.
Bless our food our body’s fuel,
our daily prayers, a Holy tool.
Into Your Hands we lay our soul
to keep us safe, to make us whole.
Forgive me Father for I have sinned.
From Satan, Lord, for me defend.

What is the cost of your seat with The Lord?
Is it all about money, can you really afford?
Should you put a grand price to speak on about God?
If they give you their tithe, do you give them a nod?
Do you set an account when you’re called by The Lord?
Should it pay all your bills and the wine you just poured?
Should you charge for the words that you read from His Book?
Could you make a fine living from our Christ’s Holy work?
Just how much is a blessing for a needy soul worth,
if you cleanse him from sin or sanction a birth?
If I put The Lord’s work to some music or song
should I charge you a fee for my part, is it wrong?
What if God tells me to do it for free,
should I take a small offer or ask for a fee?
If I tell you a story of Jesus’ life
do I call it a job to support my fine wife?
Well, it’s just my opinion I can’t speak for another.
If your job is a preacher, then I call you my Brother.
But, to me it is more of a calling or task.

A Servant of The Lord is all that I am.
He is my Shepherd; I am a lamb.
He leads me to water be it ever so still.
He tears down the mountain to make it a hill.
Glorification is all that He asks.
Follow His Words and obey His tasks.
He gives us instruction to all who will hear.
Though gentle as gentle, His wrath you should fear.
Pray to The Lord for things you should do.
Are they ever too many or ever too few?
To all who will listen to all who will see
a mission for God will be yours for no fee.
What if He asks you to flee from your sin?
Is it better to chance that The Lord you offend?
He asked, “Who are rich to sell all they possess
and give to the needy.” without second guess.
He has said, “Are you not even good as the bird?”
The Lord gives them food and they know not The Word.
We are the sheep that The Shepherd does tend.
Denomination, is it just a difference of the Faith?
Is it felt or seen or is it shadowed like a wraith?
Does Our Lord in Heaven call His people by a name
or are we just His children treated fairly just the same?
How could any split The Lord Our God apart in two
or three or four or five or six or more or just a few?
There is one God, no more, no less, almighty is His will.
We are His servants like the soil the farmers work and till.
To separate our faith in Him can only split the flock.
One Shepherd tending many hordes, a race against the clock.
Together we can stand, a mighty wall against the sky.
A million years that pass is but a twinkle in God’s eye.
A father with a dozen sons who claim a different clan.
The family split in pieces like the air blown through a fan.
The offspring held together by a name all called as one,
will hold the power of the stars the power of our sun.
So should we split ourselves in pieces split apart in two
or three or four or five or six or more or just a few?
Denomination is a word for setting things apart.
Let’s unify our faith in God, the beating of one heart.

Do you think you follow words that seem so good and new?
Beelzebub, the lord of flies, spews words which none are true.
He’ll come to you in beauty and a velvet voice of gold,
but all will be to fool you and to turn your heart so cold.
He’ll offer you the life and things that in your mind will seem
to make the Sun shine brighter and the stars a warmer gleam.
But, heed the words of man that flow from mouths so lined with silk.
What’s sweet, not always honey nor what’s white not always milk.
When you pray and meditate to hear Our Lord God’s Word,
insert a line or two that asks that Satan’s bound assured.
Ask God to send him hidden to the corners of his lair,
so only Heaven’s word will come to you, your soul to bear.
Feel blessed to ask for gifts from God, He offers them for free.
Just ask for gifts that help all men and ask not for a fee.
To have possessions is a gift God wants us to receive,
but money is a tool that Satan uses to deceive.
It’s not the things we cherish that will steal your soul away.
It’s in the things you’ll do to have them, it’s the game you’ll play.
Just remember that the best in life is seldom sold.

Satan, you who brags of so much power to bequeath.
You trample on God’s People setting them of you beneath.
You cast your ugly shadow, shading all from Deitous Light
and take away the will of those who give you not a fight.
You tempt with wicked gifts to make one think you are a god,
but all the while you limp through time as of a mule not shod.
God is, but one, no others are to claim His Holy Throne,
although, you pick man’s flesh away and leave his polished bone.
You wallow in your glory when a soul you steal away
as if to claim another is “act three” of your vile play.
You seem to wash from knowledge something really quite related.
Like the Heavens, Earth and man, that you, too, are just created.
Only God and God, alone, defeats the break of time.
Always was and ever will, God’s Presence is sublime.
God has no beginning and will never ever end.
Our time on Earth, a test of faith, He gives our soul to tend.
The Lord Our God, He tends us all, we are His Flock of Sheep.
He asks us just to hold His Word and hence, our souls to keep.
So, Satan, hear, we have a gift you’ll never, ever see.
God gives us all a chance to be with Him eternity.
February 25, 2002
God descended unto man and rendered into flesh,
for our sins to wash away and start our new lives fresh.
He gave His Only Son to man to save us from our sin.
The Blood Of Christ, our salvation, He died for us, Amen.
He always taught to love each man as though you love yourself
and the Kingdom Of Our God, by far, our greatest wealth.
If you love Him, then His word, kept by your heart would be,
for if you strive to be like Him, God’s Kingdom you will see.
When hungry He was tempted by the devil and He said,
”The Words Of God is what you need and not only
of bread.”
Christ also spoke wise words to all and any that would hear.
He said, “You should repent your sins, God’s Kingdom is so near.”
He asks us all to follow Him and keep His Holy Word
and said that, “are we not as good and worthy as the
bird?”
I’ve seen so many signs that tell me “What Would Jesus Do”.
He would say to be like Him and keep all God’s Laws true.
His Life was ended on The Cross a very Holy Day.
He gave His Life, for all mankind, to wash our sins away.
He spent His Life on Earth to teach us how to live our life.
February 27, 2002
Have you told The Lord how much He means to you today?
Did you tell Him, “Thank You” for the love He sent your way?
Count your many blessings and I think that you will find
The Lord has been quite generous when you were in a bind.
“Thank You Jesus” isn’t really hard to say in praise.
The words are fairly simple and will give you spiritual raise.
Think of what He did for you, He made the grandest loss
by coming into flesh and then He died upon The Cross.
Tell Him of your sins, for you, His door is never shut.
He’ll intercede on Judgment Day; He’ll be your advocate.
He shed His Blood to give you life, with Him eternal bliss.
Believe in it with all your heart and you will never miss.
It really isn’t hard to let Christ know just how you feel.
Knowing that He’s there for you can make your life so real.
He takes away your sins and He gives you life anew.
He heals you when you’re sick and He cheers you when you’re blue.
“Thank You Jesus”, three small words, to let Him know you care
about the wondrous deed He did, you know it’s only fair.
“Thank You Jesus” for Your Blood that gives eternal life.
Satan is a foe that fights with cunning tricks and lies.
He’ll tempt you with all sorts of things to make your interest rise.
He offers worldly honor and possessions for a fee.
Your soul is what he’s after and his trickery is the key.
His army is as vast as all the seas and oceans are.
They offer you the world, but in the end you’ll be a char.
The one thing he can’t offer, though his tongue cuts like a knife,
the one thing he can’t offer is this prize “Eternal Life”.
He’ll say that you can have all, since possession is his scheme.
But, through his lies and trickery, these things you can’t redeem.
The worldly items he can give can’t follow in the end.
On Judgment Day, your faith in God is all you can depend.
Our Lord in Heaven needs you to be part of His regime.
You’re needed as the structure of a house it needs the beam.
Just like the plants of Earth depend on water and the sod
The Lord, needs your commitment to be deemed Soldier Of God.
God’s Army will be filled with men and Angels from above.
They’ll strike like many lightning bolts, but sent down on a dove.
God’s power is immeasurable, His Wrath none can compare
March 4, 2002
The Sabbath is the day of rest, God’s Break from all creation.
We’re asked to set this day aside to save our tribulation.
Some see this as our Saturday, our calendric conception.
Others it is Sunday of the day Christ’s Resurrection.
Does it really matter which day man holds as of Holy?
Is it not more prudent that we choose a day just solely?
Do not judge a man for worshipping a certain day.
It’s that he does, that counts the most and not as in the way.
The Lord took six whole days to build the universe we know.
He rested for a day and from this act was meant to show.
He wants us all to work six days and after we should rest,
nor slave or beast of burden not a soul put to the test.
According to the Scripture on that day set many limits.
A man should walk not more that day than nigh two thousand cubits.
This walk, in layman’s terms, a mere three thousand feet in distance,
Should a man stray from his house and that’s just one for instance.
Should we hold each other guilty for a slip or two?
Are we all not brothers making God’s Work more the true?
Everyday, unto The Lord lets make a joyful noise.
Whether it’s a song or just “Praise God” unbridled poise.
It’s my opinion that The Lord will smile when He does hear
a song or worship word or two out loud and with no fear.
If you feel the urge to speak to God then let it be.
If others think you are a fool they of your love can’t see.
You have a right, a right from God, to make your feelings known.
What good does praise and worship do if none of it is shown?
For those of you with voices pure, then sing God’s Songs aloud.
Sing them true when you’re alone or even in a crowd.
You minstrels, play your harps and lyre, to worship Christ Our Lord
and make a joyful noise unto Our God a wondrous chord.
At times the souls around you think, “he’s just a smidgeon weird,”
but know The Lord, He loves you, this should rid all things you feared.
God loves to hear His People chant their praises all as one.
No other sounds on Earth or Heaven can be overdone.
To vocalize your feelings is the best of therapy.
Feel no shame to utter words to God and you will see.
God’s Word is written in The Bible, this I think you know.
It’s only good if It is read, like seeds, you need to sow.
A tattered Bible shows Its owner searched for way of life.
A Bible never opened does no good for inner-life.
To have a life that’s filled and blessed, to study is a need.
The Bible is your study guide, It is the Holy Seed.
A well read Bible is a tool, a mighty hammer’s blow
to drive the largest nail into the hardest wood we know.
God knew that questions, we would have and answers He did give.
He wrote them all, a group of Books, The Bible It does live.
It helps you through your hardest times, It gives you life anew.
There are no errors written there, all words in It are true.
It’s written for all readers, none too old or young to know.
If understanding is too tough, a prayer to God will show.
If you think that you’re too good or pompous for The Word
then to this bard your attitude is just a bit absurd.
God’s Word, It is the secret to a new eternal life.
It holds all answers asked of Him, It is the sharpest knife.
The Bible is a closet full of keys to every lock.
I’ve been told by a few that the Laws of the old
have been canceled since Christ is here, I’ve been told.
I’m just a bit unclear what changes are made
or the order of God, what’s the act that’s been played.
There’s a phrase that’s in Matthew, Five, Seventeen,
that is spoken by Jesus when a crowd He was seen.
“Do not think I have come to abolish the Law
or the Prophets;” The Bible is where this I
saw.
“I’ve come not to abolish them but to fulfill
I tell you the truth,” this word now is
real.
“Until Heaven and Earth disappear,” it gets
better,
it does say in The Book, “not the smallest of
letter.”
“Not the least stroke of pen,” there is
nothing to fear,
”from the Law will by any means just disappear.”
“Until everything God has planned is accomplished.”
So plain it is written and it’s almost the simplest.
Now I
know with this, Christ gave us new law
and taught us to love and forgive, this I saw.
In all of our glory we take much for truth,
distorting our values, clouding our youth.
We think that we own all our weak eyes survey,
but really our egos, our lives do betray.
We buy every treasure and item at hand.
We make a big deal about owning the land.
We mark all our boundaries with merely a rod
not thinking that all this belongs just to God.
He owns all the oceans and all of the seas.
He owns all the land and the grass and the trees.
He created from nothing, all you see and you know.
He lets the things live from the seeds that we sow.
He made all the stars that we see in the sky
and the beauty of all that is held in the eye.
A galaxy viewed from a point quite afar
is beyond things beheld, a pristine avatar.
Our bodies and souls are His Pride and His Joy.
We’re made in His Image and not as a toy.
The Lord is in charge, God is owning the land.
Everything in life for sale, nothing for free, not wood or nail.
You pay a man to sing a song, actors to act, it seems all wrong.
You drive forever and a day to buy a block or brick to lay.
You take more time to fix your hair than you would spend once you were there.
If you don’t feel all dressed and prim, you “just won’t go”, won’t take a whim.
You drive
across a city far, I guess that’s why man built the car,
to buy a meal or see a show, ‘cause all’s much better there, you know.
As if the further that you drive the food tastes better, life’s more alive.
A house is not a house, you know, unless a palace ‘tis to show.
Food, of course, is not as good unless it cost more like it should.
The clothing placed upon your back, without the tag, it’s just a sack.
The car you drive must be a jewel, a fine white horse, can’t ride a mule.
The Kingdom of Our Holy God, no money gives the “Enter” nod.
Only your work on Earth will show, not what you own or what you know.
To claim your seat beside His Throne can only come from love that’s shown.
The Lord will take you all the same, but first you have to call His Name.
He’ll plead your case at Heaven’s Gate, it’s not for free, your soul must rate.
If in your time with man, your fame, was for the Love Of Christ, your claim.
When painters seek where fresh is paint is like one preaching to a Saint.
Everyone has special talent it’s true
The Lord has a need, He puts them in you.
Whether building or carving or writing it be
we all are blessed solely of this you can see.
Pray to The Lord to show you His Plan.
He’ll show you His Need; He’ll show that you can.
To give
to The Lord with your special good skill
helps you feel closer to Him, you’ll climb up the hill.
I asked
The Lord, one day, in my daily prayer
to give me a task or duty to care.
He showed
me my talent, a poetic song
and showed I should post all my words right or wrong.
I write from my heart after prayer for a lead
I feel that The Lord gives me help, plants the seed.
I write what I hear in my soul from inside.
I try not to mask or a word do I hide.
My love for The Lord, growing stronger each day.
I show it with smiles and the words that I say.
April 1, 2002
Day to day and time to time we all give up for good
a treasure that’s so dear to us or something like we should.
God’s
people in the days of old would take a lamb so pure
and spill its blood to honor Him, a sacrifice made sure.
They picked a spotless perfect lamb, a treasure for The Lord.
It mattered not if they were poor or ever could afford.
To
honor God, there in that day, a key to Heaven’s Gate,
an offer of The Passover, these things that they relate.
We
ask sometimes these days of things that we might do or say
to give The Lord a Sacrifice, to do it in our way.
To
slaughter a fine animal is not a Holy Rite
that people in our day and time would partake in God’s Sight.
We
give up other treasures, so to show our Love for Him,
like fasting before Easter or forgo another whim.
To
give up something special isn’t hard for you to do
the treasure that you reap from this is worth ten fold for you.
To slaughter tiny animals, the need has gone away.
God listens to your every need, you only need to pray.
God made the Greatest Sacrifice, the ultimate in loss,
April 10, 2002
Not
always what’s seen with your eyes to believe
for things, as they look, aren’t shown to perceive.
We take
it for granted, this good sense of sight,
but is it the truth, the one good true light?
To seek
all in life that is good for reward
isn’t always the things that you get from The Lord.
From God
you receive a sight not from the sun,
but It’s the one True Light and bettered by none.
God gives
us gifts that can’t always be seen
or heard of or felt or of nothing between.
To look,
but forever, shall never be found,
It gives off no light or an audible sound.
To see It
you must open full of your soul
to hear It and feel It and make you quite whole.
To gain Its true brilliance, then feel with your heart.
That’s what makes us human, it sets us apart.
Believe
not, just always, the sight of your eyes
or sound in your ears, the world’s filled with lies.
